Not a very inventive title, apologies, but this post is pretty much what it says on the tin.
I wanted to take the time to reflect on Christmas this year and the last few months in fact.
A huge wish on my Christmas list this year was a new laptop/tablet so I can write posts to you all on the go.
& Here I am writing to you all sat in front of the fire watching a movie with a nice cup of coffee.
What does Christmas mean to you?
For a long time, probably the duration of my childhood Christmas was mostly about the stockings and the presents throughout the day.
It wasn't until this year, that my perception of Christmas really changed, after missing out on a 'family' Christmas last year.
This year it wasn't about the presents I was asking for, it was more about spending it with family and loved ones, watching them open their presents instead and that general cosy Christmas feeling. I know it sounds a little bit of a cliché.. but it's true.
I can't thank you all enough for your support and inspiration which contributed to one of the most special Christmases that I can remember.
Blogging has been an eye opening experience over the last few months and I have been offered some life-changing opportunities.
To be honest, I have never really been one for keeping up with fashion or in trends growing up, but since I have started blogging I have been introduced to some stunning, unique and innovative brands which I perhaps wouldn't have found before.
Here's to 2017 and a New Year working together and supporting one another. To discovering even more hidden gems as the year goes on.
A new festive experience for me was the Boxing Day shoot on my other half's farm.
Whilst we host a shoot every other weekend from November until late January, the Boxing Day shoot is seen as more of a fun, social day morning.
With gun's being allowed to invite guests along, this is one of the busiest shoots of the season.
I had the pleasure of being teamed with old Ben, our trusty gundog for the day.
... despite being a little older, he didn't disappoint. Retrieving birds for us left right and centre.
That is all from me for now, but keep your eyes peeled over the next few days for some exclusive product features on the blog. Lots of love, and I hope you all had a magical Christmas. Hollie-Ella Xx
