Evening you lovely lot, I hope your first day back at work wasn't too horrid! If for me, it dragged and you aren't quite ready to let go of the festive freedom then this post is one for you.
Let me introduce you to Hidalgo Equine.
I came across this brand about 6 months ago when I first started It's A Country Life.
I love the unique, stylish and sophisticated designs on offer, I am not one for hundreds of dazzling diamonte pieces on tack, I prefer a much more simplistic and traditional approach.
I have been lucky enough to receive some of Hidalgo's products to feature on my blog.
Initially I had intended to use my own youngster as the equestrian model, however he is jus far too big for the browbands provided, so thankfully my other half's dad's point to pointer Lord Aldervale aka Kenny was available to save the day.
Here he is modelling the pink and blue patterned browband. The leather is absolutely gorgeous (and has that amazing leather smell!), soft and extremely healthy.
I love the detailing either side of the browband with the branding debossed into the leather. It is a simple yet striking added touch which has a brilliant effect.
The designs are inspired from patterns and colours around the world and all browbands are designed in the UK using fine English Bridle Leather, available in a Black or Dark Havana.
Kenny is modelling the Roger Browband in Black and I am modelling the matching Roger belt.
I love the idea of being able to match your horses wardrobe in a stylish way and with Hidalgo Equine products you can do exactly that.
The belts are gorgeous too, the width of the belt is ideal for wearing with your breeches and is comfortable for riding in.
These would make an excellent subtle statement piece to a competition outfit, as the bold colours would stand out on white or cream breeches.
Perhaps one for the 2017 season ahead?
You may remember, if you follow me on Instagram a post a couple of months back of my little doxie modelling a lovely collar.
Not only does Hidalgo offer luxurious equestrian browbands and lovely leather belts they also offer matching dog collars.
Here she is wearing the pinks and blues collar that Kenny is modelling in the first image.
The canine collars are available in all of the designs including the pinks and blues my little lady is wearing which isn't seen on the website or in the image above.
Along with the stylish leather goods Hidalgo
have on offer they also have a range of handmade baskets/bags for various uses.
For example; a grooming bag, shopping bag, decorative storage at home etc...
Again the designs are inspired by colours of the world, they are extremely unique and are sure to make a statement outside your stable instead of the more standard grooming kit we are all so used too! Who said having horses means you can't be stylish only practical? Certainly not the team behind Hidalgo Equine!
Please see the Hidalgo Equine website for more products, prices and contact information.
Back in September, Hidalgo Equine sponsored the Junior GB Eventing Team at the European Championships.
To make sure our girls looked the part Hidalgo provided the them each with the Roger Belt to wear during their time at the championships.
The vibrant, stylish and patriotic red, white and blue designed was the perfect choice for this.

I want to say a huge thank you to Lisa for believing in me, her patience and general kindness towards me despite this being a VERY belated post. I hope you like it.
Happy New Year and I cannot wait to see what 2017 has in store for us!
Lots of love, Hollie-Ella Xx
