Amongst the Olympia preparations madness I really wanted to try and squeeze in some time to update you all about what has been going on since the Winter issue was officially released.
Again, and I can't really say it enough - we have just been so overwhelmed with the response from you all to the second issue.
It truly is incredible and I don't think I will ever get used to it.
So, first off - thank you all. X
I recently posted on LinkedIn (which is another social media style platform primarily for business purposes) about how much I love that we - meaning all of you - have almost created a 'thing' in itself whereby SO many of you wonderful people get on board and once you receive your copy of ITC you post such imaginative posts all over social media.
Not only do these look great, but they help to spread the word so that more and more people are able to discover what we are all about and I am hugely grateful for that. It has truly been a driving force.
Just over a month ago, the first batch of our Winter magazines arrived on our doorstep and it has been non-stop since then. Here is our gorgeous cover image featuring Rosie our human model and Benny our equine model with the stunning Bereleigh House as the backdrop. Image credit goes to Events Through A Lens - as always the most fantastic job.
I think it might be funny to take you all behind the scenes one day and to share with you the madness and genuine hard work, time and effort that goes into making and sending each and every one of our beautiful magazines all around the world.
It does make us giggle - we often to say to ourselves, 'if only people could see how it is really done, they would be in hysterics.' It will give us something to look back on in years to come, when hopefully we no longer need to hand stamp each envelope!
We hand wrap, hand tie, hand package and hand stamp each and every single magazine that you guys order.
We also hand write each and every envelope and compliment slip... although Mum (my
right-hand woman) has banned me from writing out the envelopes because my writing isn't neat enough apparently. Mother's always know best.
We have also been speaking to equestrian and country style retailers nationwide to see whether or not they would be interested in stocking the Winter issue in store and we are excited to say that the majority of them have said yes! Keep your eyes peeled - In The Country could be coming to a store near you! We will be listing each stockist on our website shortly too, so you can see exactly who is stocking us and where!
Today we dropped a whole box of magazines off to Equitogs who have now officially joined our list of stockists. We are so excited to see our (not so) little business flourishing.
Next on the agenda... Olympia.
Now, although I am sure the event itself doesn't need much introducing I must say I think it has to be my favourite event of the year. It's just so Christmassy and magical and obviously mainly about horses. What is not to love?
If you don't already know though - The London International Horse Show takes place at Olympia in London from the 12th - 18th December and it is a celebration of all things equine and Christmas really. It is fabulous.
To my utter amazement - I'm not really sure it has sunk in yet, we were offered a space at this year's show after applying to the Olympia Introducing scheme a few months ago now.
We have teamed up with some brilliant brands to offer some fab competitions throughout the event on our stand. You'll have to stop by to find out though. You can find us on stand H271.
We will be selling our Winter issue as well as taking 2018 subscriptions. Stop by for your chance to win.
Until next time...
Lots of love,
