I hope you all had a super bank holiday weekend whatever you got up to. I had a fairly relaxing one as James was away. I actually spent yesterday working which I certainly wouldn't have done three years ago. Working on the magazine and the blog though, just doesn't feel like work... most of the time.
You'll have seen by now that I am an ambassador to a number of lovely brands. These are brands that I have a genuine connection with and a love of their products, so when I was approached by the lovely Ashley about her client BHOID I was intrigued. I hadn't really heard all that much about the brand up until that point and I was cautious about taking on another ambassador role as didn't want to appear like I had too many. However, that was until I saw the products. They are just stunning and so unique, I knew I had to be a part of the BHOID story.

Hearing that BHOID had actually requested me initially after following my journey and enjoying the magazine and what I was doing with the business was an incredible feeling and made the decision even easier.
A Bit About BHOID:
BHOID was founded back in 2015 in the beautiful English countryside down in the Cotswolds by Steph Ackrill. Steph is a true country lady and grew up on the family farm which has inspired many of the beautiful designs you can browse on their website and in a number of exclusively selected stores nationwide. View stockists here.
BHOID is a luxury accessories company and trust me when I say - the products and the whole BHOID customer experience really is luxurious!
The brand is passionate about sustaining the
UK manufacturing and supporting Britain's economy. All of the products are British made which makes the entire collection just that bit more special. Using traditional skills and staying true to their British heritage BHOID really is a brand to discover. I am thrilled I did.
Steph and I met at The Game Fair and it was wonderful to be able to see the collection in person. I couldn't believe my luck when Steph offered to let me choose two items from the collection to take home and show you all.
There was SO many to choose from and it was not an easy decision. Any one who knows me will know that I am rarely found without a scarf of some sort, although I had never owned a silk scarf - I was in for a real treat.
Also - they have THE cutest model I think I have ever seen, I will admit, I did try to do a similar thing with Bell when putting together this post but it definitely did NOT work. She wasn't having any of it, unlike this little sweetheart who looks like butter wouldn't melt.
So what did I choose?
After having a browse through the stunning collection of scarves, I opted for one which perfectly celebrates life in the countryside; The Covey Silk Scarf - Midnight. The Covey is available in two colour ways; Harvest and Midnight. I was definitely torn between the two but Steph explained to me that when choosing a scarf you should look at the tone of your skin and hair in addition to your normal style. Now, I am not normally one for bright colours (despite the above picture), my every day wardrobe consists of neutral colours and lighter shades.
Here you can see the full design in both colour ways. This is just one design from BHOID's collection, there are lots more. Each one really is a work of art, the incredibly detailed designs on truly are incredible.
When I visited Steph at The Game Fair I wore the brilliantly vibrant Tay Scarf in Dawn which features a fishing-themed design. This design also comes in two colour ways; Dawn (the one I am wearing) and Dusk which Steph is wearing in both pictures below.
A Closer Look At The Covey:
All of BHOID's Silk Scarves come beautifully presented in one of these branded boxes. Made from 100% silk and totally hand-made these scarves are seriously special. The packaging alone screams luxury. As a lover of all things country, the adorable vintage tractor logo is an added bonus! Anything with tractors on is bound to go down well in our household.
Isn't it just beautiful! The first sneaky peak and I am already in love.
You can see below the glorious cock bird feature on the scarf, if you're a country enthusiast this is most certainly one for you. The Covey's colour ways are elegant and neutral enough that they could be worn on a day's shooting this season or as an every day luxury accessory. I know it'll be making an appearance on my Instagram quite a bit over the coming months!
Currently, I have only spoken about The Covey but I picked up another item which I am sure so many of you will LOVE. This has made an appearance on my Instagram and so may not be totally new to all of you BUT I just cannot get over how much I love it!
What am I raving on about? The Stornoway Leather Belt in London Tan.
For any country enthusiast, this is the thing of dreams.
Some More About The Stornoway:
Featuring that iconic vintage tractor logo stamped onto the belt itself at £89 this really is THE belt to have. It is uni-sex and handmade in the UK using the finest quality vegetable tanned leather. The Stornoway is available in London Tan, Chestnut Brown and Stornoway Grey. Despite being stylish all year round, if you're looking for the perfect gift for him this Christmas, you cannot go wrong with this! James has already put his request in.
This gorgeous belt features a square buckle cast from solid brass, with either a polished brass finish or a sliver nickel plating. The polished brass finish is uncoated and will therefore develop a beautiful patina with time if you don't polish it.
Each belt comes in a beautiful branded brushed cotton presentation bag, which you can see in the images above.
I cannot tell you how much I love love love this brand and am so pleased to have been introduced to BHOID International. It's a wonderful brand that deserves so much credit and I am delighted to have been chosen as their exclusive Brand Ambassador.
