For some time now I have wanted to talk more about my life with horses on the blog, in particular my relationship and journey with my own youngster Simba, who you may have seen through previous posts and on social media. I just can’t help sharing his beautiful face with you all!
In the midst of setting up IACL it is safe to say riding has taken a bit of a back burner, I am sure Simba doesn’t mind especially with all the Summer grass we have on the farm along with the arrival of his pint sized new Shetland girlfriend Haffie!
During a conversation had at the Al Shira’aa Hickstead Derby Meeting last month with the wonderful Ashley from Mirror Me PR we were discussing our riding experience, and I had mentioned that I had been on the look out for a supplement that may help with Simba’s gastrointestinal health. I am quite confident he does not suffer from Ulcer’s at this stage, however he can sometimes be rather stroppy and evasive of his girth being done up.
That was when Ashley mentioned her client Aloeride – a supplement made from natural, organic certified Soil Association Aloe Vera based in Leicestershire. Thanks to the generous team at Aloeride we have decided to embark on a four month trial of the product.
I am only a couple of days into the trial, and am planning to post monthly updates for you all. So far, although miracles do not happen over night the palatability of the product seems great, I am having no trouble feeding it to Simba.
Keep your eye out for updates. I can’t wait to see how it works out for us, I love the fact it is natural and plant based and made in Britain.
Only the best for my boy. X
Until next time,
Lots of love,
